Key User Features
- Classic Time Entry: Classic time entry forms with save, edit and post functionality.
- Time Caputre: Select from today, yesterday, this week, last week or a custom date range from the calendars to kick off a time capture search.
- Automated Reports via E-mail: User can request e-mail reports to be sent to them daily or weekly.
- Intelligent Client Matter Data Learning: Users teach Smart Time the relationship between e-mail addresses, phone numbers and client matter codes so future transactions get automatically coded for them.
- User Dictated Settings for Time Capture: On the My Settings pages, users can select which Smart Time event connectors will return data. The user can combine all e-mails into the same thread; pick which Outlook folders to search; set grid sort defaults; set report sort defaults; set telephone filtering rules; and set user export rules.
- Export Time to Accounting Systems: Smart Time events can be exported to any accounting system. Custom forms can be created for fields such as phase, task, location and activity. User has the option to merge multiple transactions into one. Smart Time validates the data before permitting it to be exported. It tracks every transaction that gets exported to protect the user from mistakenly exporting data twice.
- Preview E-mails and Appointments: Click on the link to see the whole e-mail or appointment in an OWA window.
- Smart Timers: Desktop Smart Timers for stop watch functionality.
- Proxy Rights: Users can designate others who can run Smart Time on their behalf, for example, the assistant who helps them prepare timesheets.
- Adaptable to Different Work Styles : Users can work with the online journal, print e-mail reports, or export time directly from the export grid to the accounting system. Smart Time also creates a collaborative environment for assistants and timekeepers to work together to complete time entry.
- Web Design: Minimalist site design. Optimized for single screen entry.
